There comes a time in our lives when we think "F it! I'm good enough" That was exactly how I felt when creating this piece of artwork. I was 40 something, I'd been creating ink art on and off for over 20 years and finally, I was confident about the work I was producing. I love working with inks, I find its the one medium that you don't really have to control very much, therefore, your a participator in the process rather than the executor.
Lime green features quite heavily in my work of this period. Its a colour which speaks belief, conviction, resilience and confidence.
